Mama's Love
What can possibly be more important than a mother-daughter photography session with your family's heart horse?
A mother with her young girls and their horse was an incredibly beautiful and epic photo session that was full of the love you want to see in everyone's family around the world.
Kathryn says it all when it comes to their family's horse, she said "Montana has been a solid rock in my life. She's a can-do horse with a huge heart and will take on anyone who wants to enjoy her! She's our 'one in a million'! The 'priceless mount', the 'baby sitter', 'the steady one', you can count on her for anything!"
Montana is a 20 plus year old Appaloosa Shire cross mare. She's gentle and quiet and has such a soft way about her. Her nickname is 'Nana Tana'. The family first met Montana about 15 years ago when a family friend had her first. They went out on a trail ride together and Kathryn immediately could see why she was the baby sitter type of horse. Then 5 years later she became theirs, "because, we had to have her haha," says Kathryn.
Montana is the kind of horse that creates a confident rider by how well she takes care of them daily. The girls are young riders and these girls can ride her fearlessly. They are not scared, intimidated or worried one bit. These girls laid on her, rode her around, walked her around, and never once worried with their Nana Tana. This is the kind of horse every mama wants their children to ride and be around.
Seeing Montana, the girls and Kathryn interact together was absolutely adorable and amazing. We had such a lovely time together capturing their memories and creating pieces of art for their home and to share with family and friends.
