Unconditional Love & Comfort
He makes me feel unconditional love and comfort, says Christina in her initial heart horse application. Well, I was sold right then and there and just knew Christina and her heart horse Danny were the perfect pair to select for my passion project gift.
Danny is a grade, grey 22-year-old gelding. He's a big fluffy, loving gelding with a huge heart and big, soft eyes. He's basically a giant teddy bear says, Christina. And he's exactly that, I loved meeting him and just learning their story and knowing they have really been through everything, growing up together, especially through those teenage years, you know what I mean, don't you?!.
Danny is a heart horse because of the way he puts his big grey muzzle in her hands, the way he looks at her with his big eyes and chipper split ears. He also nickers at Christina when she calls for him by name. Christina also said, "He'd pack me through hell and back- literally!" and that right there says it all as his unconditional love for her makes him her forever heart horse.
Her grandpa originally bought him as a packhorse as those years ago, however, Christina's grandpa said she could try him as she needed a step-up horse, and as it turned out he was a perfect match and hasn't left Christina's side. She showed Danny in many different disciplines in 4-H, open shows, OHSET, and they even did 3day eventing! He loves any food, from granola bars, watermelon to any horse treat. Danny still lives on their family ranch and nowadays babysits her son, protecting, loving, and comforting him from rides in the arena to working cattle.
